Something is always blooming!

Welcome to the woods and wildflowers at Reflection Riding!

Summer and fall flowers are not as profuse as in the springtime, but there's always
something blooming.

Lots of Butterfly Weed is blooming here and there; and not only do the butterflies love it, the bees do, too!

New England Asters and Black-eyed Susans can be seen in various places.  Wine Cup and Queen Anne's Lace are showing off near the barn.

Walk the upper road to see sensitive brier.  The leaves close up if you touch them, but I love the little round pink blooms.

They might be considered weeds if they pop up in your garden; but seeing them along the roadside makes me smile!

  1. Very pretty. I had a nice little patch of Black-eyed Susans pop up in my yard. I love them.
